It is easy to scrap the happy times. It may be more important to scrap the tough ones. Your journaling is so moving. God bless you on your road to recovery from your loss.
My sister in law is battling Ovarian Cancer now...and the 12 year old daughter of a girlfriend was just diagnosed, had surgery, and is starting chemo. Teal there is a cure...
We have been battling cancer with my mom this year and it's so hard. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in April and she has been battling and fighting ever since. Chemo is one of the hardest things to watch someone you love go through. I am so very sorry for your loss. You made a wonderful tribute page to your sweet mom. She is smiling down on you now. Wonderful page, love the colors and the butterflies.
Oh so sorry for your loss! I also celebrate your bravery for completing this page and sharing it with us. I still haven't scrapped my sister's lost battle to cancer and she's been gone 4yrs. Thank you for being strong for those of us who aren't, yet.
Your words in the journaling are so near and dear to my heart. I too lost someone to cancer. I'm glad you chose the photo you did. It shows her smile and her journey. I hope your scrappin' helps you. TFS!
Wonderful tribute. I lost my mom 8 1/2 years ago to leukemia, and scrapping the past year has really made me miss her even more. I love this page, and that you used the symbolic teal. May your mom's memory be a blessing. xoxo
What a lovely, lovely heartfelt tribute to you mom. WHat a difficult page this had to be for you to scrap, but what a wonderful mother she must have been!
so sorry for your loss -this is hopefully the start to scrapping those special memories you will forever have in your heart, down on paper to share with others. Thank you for sharing! Beautifully done
We lost my mom in October, this is the first page I have made about her since then. It was a very emotional page to make. I used some of the Moxxie Road to recovery papers, that seemed very fitting. While not quite teal they are close enough so I used them because ovarian cancers support color is teal, and there motto is teal theres a cure. Journaling reads : When mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer our family embarked on a journey with her. One filled with hope and fear, laughter and tears, healing and pain, love and loss. We entered a world of surgery, treatments, counts and scans. Celebrated the small victories with her and comforted her in the moments of despair. Her journey home was fought courageously with grace and dignity.
