When I was a senior in high school and my best friend was a freshman in college when we borrowed habits from the nuns at our high school. We told them it was so we cold attend a masquerade without dates, but in reality it was so we could attend the concert of a local band (The Rubinoos). We went to their concerts at local night clubs almost twice a week. They had a song called "Catholic Girls Like t Get Nasty", so being Catholic school girls...well, you get the idea. The rosaries around our waists were found at a local import store, and were not blessed. It was a very fun night, and my friend found pictures of the night this many (30!) years later, so I decided to commit them to a layout. I don't believe the nuns ever found out the fun their habits had that night. ;-)
Most of the papers are Graphic 45. Layered ribbons, misc flowers. The brackets are chipboard, that I covered with G45 paper. The big square bracketed shaped on the right side was hand cut. The little words are from Melody Ross and the Best Friend quote is from Marcella by K.
