Give a Cheer
This is for the 2-page Sketch Challenege.
Our first beach day in Siesta Key, and DD checking out the waves. (Hence the title, "First Wave".)
I pre-cut all the elements with my Cameo from 6x6 pieces of MME's Lime Twist/Fly a Kite - one of my fave collections ever! I loved being able to just have the little strips ready to go. I did my first ever paper-covered chipboard - the little tag in the lower LH corner was a chipboard tag from the cheap bins at Michaels covered in paper and sanded down, then I added some netting and popped it up. I also inked the corrugated letters in the title. Added a little more netting in the opposite corner, chipboard, a brad and some old transparent stickers to finish the job. I think this is my favorite of my two-pagers.
BTW, Simple Stories, if you're paying attention, please continue making these SNAP Cardstock alpha stickers. I use them on nearly every page I make, and I'd love them in more colors. Thank you! :)
