Mother had been hit by car, echidna puggle found and deivered to me by police highway patrol. (Big man in uniform - softie at heart!) Usually single babies for echidnas.

It is very rare to find baby echidnas as the mother buries the puggle in a burrow while she seeks food. The puggle needs to be kept quite cool, unlike other baby animals. It feeds by licking milk formula from my hand.
