This was inspired by three things: a post that’s been making the rounds on Facebook, the totally un-Spring-like weather that we’ve been having, and the gorgeous March kit from Swirlydoos.

A bit of a fail and a save with black gesso here: it was a bit thinner than I thought, so the stenciling didn’t go as planned. After it dried, I repositioned the template and sprayed with Glimmer Mist in Abominable Snowman and I actually like the result.
The bricks are from my lovingly hoarded Dusty Attic stash, covered with crackle paste and misted with Glimmer Mist in Brick.
The wood butterfly was stamped and misted and slightly broken in the center to give it some dimension.
All mosses and the butterfly are from Michael’s; all of the patterned paper and flowers are a small part of the Vintage Chic kit.
