Sometimes it's the little things that create the biggest impressions. This Mini Rose makes a charming embellishment and adds an essential element to your design.
Cut cardstock to size and fold in half to form a card base. Emboss a piece of cardstock using the Diamonds & Damask embossing folder. Lightly sand to highlight the raised design. Die-cut the embossed paper and a piece of patterned paper and cardstock using a die from the Scallop Square Framelits set. Cut the embossed paper and use the other two papers to fill in the space, matching up the cut shapes so they overlap and adhere together. Wrap a length of ribbon around the layered papers and tie into a bow. Attach to the card front. Stamp a sentiment on to a piece of cardstock. Align the Fancy Labels #3 over the stamped sentiment and die-cut. Cut a smaller frame as well. Ink the edges of the larger Label. Punch hole in the two Labels to form tags and attach to the card front with twine. Embellish with jewels. Die-cut a Mini Rose out of appropriately colored heavyweight, smooth cardstock (80 lbs or more). Add color, manipulate and assemble pieces as shown in the die's instructional PDF or video. Attach the assembled Rose to the card front.
