I made this layout with the May Anniversary kit from ScrapThat! kit club, using a lovely sketch by Amarylis! Her sketch had a circle design that I swapped out for (yep you guest it!) a heart. I was inspired by an OTP project I saw done by Ingvild Bolme, she had used some sort of puffy medium on her project but I got the idea to use bubble wrap for my page. I glued on a couple of pieces of bubble wrap and covered them with Gesso, then painted/spritzed with some black tint and a bit of pink, when that dried I gave the bubbles a light brushing with more white gesso so that they'd stand out more. I used some inexpensive oil pastels that I picked up from my local dollar store to draw out my heart design. The blooms I made from a piece of vellum that was in the kit (I'll be sharing a tutorial on my blog on how I made these in May)
