Quarry Lake is one of Canmore’s many environmental success stories. The lake is over 100 metres deep in some areas and fed by an underground mountain spring making it only suitable for swimming in July and August. The area connects to extensive trails in the area for walking, biking and cross country skiing. In addition there is an adjacent designated Off-Leash Dog park, which is great for me.
