I was trying to use them for rhinestones, journaling tags, brush markers (and sometimes other markers) etc. but I think I will start using the pigeon holes as intended... for small paper pieces. I think that looks best and will help me with how I scrap. I will keep a few of the plastic containers for crops though.
They *are* great, though, in that they are inexpensive and come in a variety of colors -- gives me an idea for using some of my kids' discarded ones. They fit very well in your slots, too! But I understand about wanting the right size for what is stored. What *do* you have in them?
This is the second drawer of my lingerie cabinet. It includes hinges plastic cases that hold several "tic-tac"containers for brad and eyelet storage. My sister found the first one for 25 cents. The metal chocolate tins behind them, hold a set of larger brads and an old MM eyelet setter. I still also have the little hammer and setting plate as you can see. I also have my Provo Craft silent setter of course. And the little basket is holding my pictured epoxy brads. I don't think it is the neatest arrangement but it does all work very well.
