It's great to scrap the harder-to-scrap photos, because they are STILL part of the event and memories. If you really want to keep the little girl's photo, maybe filp the position with the photo above her? And you could try using a dark chaulk around the journaling boxes to darken the green.
You're right about the little girl photo - I just couldn't come up with anywhere else to put it, and it's a neat photo... But it might fit on another page, now that I think about it. Thanks for the idea!
It's great that you've scrapped the not so great pics. The pic of the little girl looks out of place in the LO...doesn't quite go with the rest of the pics. I would take it out. The green works well with the background paper you've chosen. Great work!
UPDATE: I removed the small photo, as suggested in the comments - now what should I put in its place?
Near the end of my wedding reception in a garden - we had no lighting due to confusion, so it got fairly dark.
Hard to do pages with really dark photos... I didn't want to use a light background because I wanted the page to show that it was dark, but I had to use somewhat bright mats for the photos to show at all... The journaling in the bottom corner was originally printed right on the darker mat paper, but it was too dark to be readable, so I had to change it to the green, which I'm not quite happy with. Also not sure about the arrangement of the two non-focus photos. This page was hard.
