Give a Cheer
This was one of my Mini Challenge photos from POD in January 2010 - Animal. It's of my Sun Conure Mina - she's got a grape, her fave treat, in her claw.
I used a sketch that MelissaW made for our WTTS crop last weekend. I started it at the crop, but I got stuck and had to bring it home to finish.
This is my example for my July Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: Lime green, Yellow, and Orange. The twist is to include a number somewhere on the page - I have the 1 in the subtitle: Look Mom, 1 foot! I also added the date, JAN 25 2010 with stickers.
This is for the July Pet Challenge with the 'Fun in the Sun' twist. Krista left it up to our own interpretation, and I am using the fact that Mina's a SUN Conure to fulfill the twist. :)
I borrowed my friend Eileen's (ncyankee) harlequin mask at our crop, and I love it. (Thank you!) MUST get that! I used green and orange inks with it. I also splattered green mist on the page. I made the pinwheels with my new Fiskars pinwheel punch - my papers weren't double sided so I had to adhere them back to back to make the pinwheels, and I used brads for centers.
