Wednesday, October 24, 2012 – We explored Ile d'Orleans (pronounced Isle de-or-Lee-Ahns). After we left the island we drove around the beautiful downtown district of Quebec. It reminded us of a very European city with the old-world architecture and outdoor cafes and especially with the beautiful frescoes painted on many of the walls.

One of the souvenir/gifts shops was called, “Cool As A Moose” and Bill loved that because when we were teenagers a popular expression was, “Cool As A Moose”. Bill also liked that “KFC” was called “PFC”.

That night we found a restaurant which was excellent – St. Hubert (pronounced Saint U-bair). We ordered the chicken and ribs combo and both were worth going back for the next time we are in Quebec City.
