An angle shot of one of my rolling file racks. The drawer containers hold metal letters and numbers (bought from a LSS that went out of business). On the left end, the Avon make-up holder, with my punches, hanging in place. The top flat surface is another of what I think of as GREAT ideas!! Along with scrapping, I sew quite a bit, and needed a place where I could press open seams without opening up the big old ironing board. My son had cut and painted a piece of plywood, and drilled out holes to recess the tops of the legs into (so the board doesn't slide around). I dug some batting and fleece out of my fabric stash, and bought a small piece of Teflon coated ironing board cover fabric from Jo-Ann's. I sewed elastic around the edge of the fabric, and wrapped the edge over the board. I did mess up the measurements, and cut the fabric a bit too small, and so will probably re-do the cover, but in theory and in practice it works great as a small surface to iron on that can be rolled out of the way, or (more commonly) used as an extra flat surface when I'm scrapping. I usually put my completed pages there -- out of the way of the wet and sticky messes that I so often make of my work surface.
