I can't believe we actually paid to be locked in an enclosure with 4 full-grown Bengal tigers. The trainer and a photographer were with us. The only time I got a little antsy was when we were walking with one and another came up to us, sandwiching us between them and one more was walking near us and one was lying on the grass near us. They had their teeth and their claws.

We had to pet them very firmly. If we petted them lightly it would tickle and they would think we wanted to play. We were advised not to get this cats in play mode! Pet them firmly on the sides or back behind the head - we couldn't touch their heads or faces or front paws.

We also couldn't take anything in the enclosure other than our cameras. Otherwise the bengals would think we were bringing them toys and would try to take things away from us and we could have gotten hurt.

One tourist barked at the tiger and he got upset. They quickly got him out of the enclosure because he was agitating the tigers.

When you petted them they were like any other housecat - they closed their eyes and went to sleep.
