This is my great grandmother who was named Martha Fritz Meier. She came to America from Germany as a child. She married my great grandfather when she was 18 and living in Minn. They came to California and she had 11 children. Unfortunately, my great grandfather died early and my g. grandmother had to support her family. She was a strong woman who lived to 88 years old. The contrast between the two photos ; one when she was about 40 and the last right before she died at 88 are both so beautiful.
