A layout based on one of Shimelle's recent “sketch to scrapbook page” posts for square photos: http://www.shimelle.com/paper/1667/sketch-to-scrapbook-page-scrapbooking-with-square-photo-prints/ [shimelle.com]I ended up putting my journaling running vertically instead of in the block on the side, so I had some space to fill and ended up picking a variety of punched circles and other embellishments. I decided to add the wood veneer geotag symbol right at the end, because there was a slightly awkward gap in the circle embellishment area and it fit nicely with the motif while being just enough different to stand out. The photos are from a trip to Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons, so I think a geotag motif will be a great continuity element throughout. I like wood veneers for that because they can be neutral and they can be inked/painted/etc to get different looks on different pages.
