This is (yes) a three page spread. I have page protectors that fold out. I could actually do a 4 pager if I wanted... But this one was hard enough to do and I don't think I'll attempt it again. I *LOVE* what I did with the pictures at the bottom, and that's why I decided on a three page spread... but then the rest of the layout was difficult to put together. I was in Kentucky when I did this and didn't have my stash of scrap stuff at hand, so I was using what I could find at my moms house and Walmart, hehe!!! So this is it. Not an award winner, but what do I care? Plus I messed up on the journaling by writing a few phrases more than once, but I'm not going to worry about trying to change it because the mistakes are sometimes something to treasure as well... I know what I meant, right?
Journaling Reads:
June 12th, 2006: at this time of the year, Huber's Farm in Starlight Indiana opens up their strawberry patch to the public. My mom thought that it would be fun for us to go out there and pick our own strawberries. When we first got to Hubers Farm, we went to their restaurant to eat a real country lunch. After our meal, we visited the rainbow garden and Koi pond. Then we made our way to the tractor that would take us out to the fields. The strawberry patch was so large, we didn't know where to start. So we picked a row and went to work.the girls helped me pick strawberries while my mom took pictures. After taking a suffieient amount of pictures... she too joined in the fun! After picking and eatting strawberries for about an hour, we were ready to go. We had two flats almost completely full! The cost was about $14.00. When we got home, we washed the strawberries. Then we sorted them into different containers. For over a week now we have been enjoying the strawberries. We even took some to my Grandma so that she could enjoy the strawberries too!
