I just finished taking Shimelle's Something from Almost Nothing Class - http://www.shimelle.com/classes/683/a-new-online-scrapbooking-class-something-from-almost-nothing/ [shimelle.com]I took an archived version of this class that ran live last year. It was AWESOME! The whole class is all about stash-busting in creative ways. Since I am new at this, I don't have a huge stash, but I still stayed true to the concept and did not purchase anything new for the prompts. I even used extra photos on hand and didn't print new ones. This ended up being a great opportunity for me to try working with different materials. I learned quite a bit while creating my “Celebrate My Life As Mom” album. Things like: I enjoy buttons much more than I thought. Its really fun to use paper scraps. Page protectors are fun!, I LOVE sewing on paper, Zutters do NOT play nice with transparencies - lol!
