Journaling:<br>what a difficult six months this has been. I didn't consider myself a politician, but here I was in the middle of a campaign that I so desperately wanted to win. I needed to show everyone that I was the best candidate for position and that I didn't spend the past eighteen years doing this job to have it end like this.<br>I fought. I sent postcards. I wrote my letter to the editor and placed my ads.<br>In the end it was enough.
