This is a shadow box I made for my Grandmother for her first Mother's Day as a Great Grandmother. I made a similar page for my son's family album and she loved it so much I wanted her to have her own.
The poem reads:
When I was just a little girl
A frilly prissy thing
I'd sit upon my Grandma's lap
And listen to her sing
Her hands they held no jewelry
No makeup on her face
Hers was the purest beauty
Derived from Amazing Grace
Many years have passed us by
I have my own child to love
And even though he's very new
He's knows you're a gift from up above
