Give a Cheer
This is my very first 2 Peas Challenge & I had a lot of fun doing this layout :) Thanks to Lady Stars for doing the challenge. I used my Club Scrap DIY kit along with a Jolees Scrapbooking Kit, metal letters & fibers. Journaling reads: “About 2 years ago, I ordered a scrapbooking kit from QVC that was a TSV because I thought the hobby looked interesting. Well, I did about 4 pages & then I put the kit up on a shelf in my hall closet to let it collect dust. Fast forward to January of 2003…..a friend invited me to go to a crop with her on Super Bowl Sunday & I accepted (anything had to be better than watching football!). I had NO idea what a crop even was at that time! So I packed up my scrapbooking set from QVC along with some pictures & went to the crop. While getting out of the car & unloading my small bag of stuff, I was truly amazed at all the things everyone else was bringing to the crop…..I felt like I was going to a sleepover! We went in & got a table & spent the next 10 hours cropping away. By the time the crop was over, I was totally hooked on scrapbooking! From that day on, I have emerged from a Scrapbook Newbie to a scrapbooking NUT! I even changed my unused dining room into a scrapbook room/office/library to hold all my scrapbooking supplies. I don't even want to think about how much money I've invested in this hobby in the past 9 months! But being able to preserve my memories has been ‘priceless’!” Title reads: From Scrapbook Newbie to Scrapbooking Nut. I engraved the word ‘nut’ on a metal tag using my Magic Scraps engraving tool, also from QVC. Pictures show my scrapbook room which I'm constantly rearranging & adding to, lol. TFL :)
