Working on the wedding album for friends and I was able to work both challenges into this double page layout. For the BOS Challenge I had the adorable layout, shown on page 4, by 1tngal1 in my spot to lift this week. For the DW Calendar Challenge I went with the 7/10 page which suggested adding emphasis to the journaling with rub-ons. I used Paper Pizazz PP over textured cardstock. The white paper is for photo placement for the couple to add their own photos of them with their parents. I used brads from Joann's and the flowers are from Offray Ribbons. The entire Wedding Bells journaling is on white cardstock and I made the scallop by tracing the end of a glue stick and then handcutting it out. I used a black pen to make the dots. The rub-on reads: “It seems like only yesterday I was rocking you to sleep. I celebrated many of your milestones over the years, and now I watch with mixed feelings as you plan your wedding. My sweet child, as you prepare to exchange vows, I wish for you a lifetime of love and commitment. If you look back to younger days, let it be with fondness and contentment. If you look to the future, let it be in anticipation of the joy that awaits you.”
