I really wanted to capture this. Ever since Danica was very small, she would get excited when she would see her daddy unshaven and would cosy on up to him and rub her cheek on his and giggle. She still does it at age 8 (yesterday in fact!).I used a Page Maps sketch for inspiration. Its been a while since I used flowers like this on a lo. I have lots in my stash but have moved away from them. I love the girliness of this one!Other inspiration came from Stash Busters (use 3 hearts and 3 patterned papers) and also from Glitter Girl. Her video this week has kept me much more mindful of white space. I don't have it down perfectly yet, I'm a work in progress!! But, the scallop was a last minute addition and I think it really helped from both a space and color perspective to give the page balance…I don't know, is it okay to have so much “white space” on the top and bottom? TFL!!
