This is the tag I did for the March swap. I don't do tags very often so it was fun to try this one. The Stamp is one I've had for a while of a cat wearing fishy pyjamas .I stamped his PJ"s top on peach coloured card stock and embossed with teal powder then used teal card stock stamped and embossed with orange for the bottoms. I coloured the cat with markers to look like an orange tabby.The fish were stamped in versa mark using foam stamps and then dusted with Pearl Ex in copper and purple tones.I used a piece of plastic netting, from a red onion bag, to make the fish net and attached it to the tag with glossy heavy gel medium and carried the gel medium over the whole of the tag trying to create a sort of wet wavy effect but I'm not really sure that effect worked very well. The I added a couple of orange and purple star shaped buttons and a glittery orange and teal ribbon. The faux stitching around the edge was done with a copper metallic marker and, I thought looked coppery orange when I did it, but is coming across as silvery here.The second picture is just of the back of the tag which is a purple PP with a little bit of teal antiquing look.
