…will be posted on my blog sometime later… This layout (which looks crooked in the photos, but I promise, it's straight in real life! And the ribbon (inspired by the June 2011 Products You Love Every Which Way) is a nice, bright golden yellow. Satin ribbon is hard to photograph!) uses Shimelle's 4x6 Photo Love sketch for May as a starting point. The original sketch has four horizontally-oriented photos and one vertically-oriented photo, but I had three of the former and two of the latter. So I chopped one of my vertical 4x6 photos into a square and used it in the photo strip along the bottom. Hopefully it still counts, haha!I took a cue from Shimelle's use of butterflies, too. We didn't see any butterflies on our Chicago wanderings (that I remember, at least) but who cares? I think they're pretty and I wanted an embellishment, so here we are! supplies from the June 2011 Lucky Girl Crafts kit “Hullabaloo”:patterned paper: Echo Park Playground (Capture the Flag, Jump Rope, both B-sides)alphas: American Crafts Dear Lizzy Puffy Thickers (berry), Doodlebug Candy Shoppe (lily white, from the January 2011 kit!)embellishments: My Mind's Eye Lime Twist baker's twine (Happy Go Lucky Together)other supplies:cardstock: Recollections (kraft), Paper Company (white)embellishments: the Paper Studio (small brads), Making Memories (large brad, clip)punches: Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, EK Success 1" circle punchSilhouette SD: butterflyscalloped scissorsribbonadhesives: Scotch double sided tape, Therm O Web foam adhesiveblack pen: Sharpie Extra Finesketch: Shimelle's 4x6 Photo Love (5-photo) sketch for May 2011 (on Two Peas)
