Some of my husband's childhood photos. Such a different experience to scrap them as I need him to help with the journalling and he has forgotten most of his childhood. I even wrote “Mom” rather than “Mum” to keep it more true to his life and words. The journalling is tucked in the glassine envelope. I'm not usually one for hidden journalling, but I really wanted to include all the photos as they were taken in different seasons/years.I challenged myself to use this background paper. It was one of the few pieces in the Here & There collection I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use, but after toning it down with white ink, I'm quite happy with the result.
