This layout was made in response to challenge number 7 of Shimelle's weekend crop. The challenge was to use an envelope or pocket to house something worth saving.Challenge link: http://www.shimelle.com/paper/1449/scrapbooking-challenge-put-it-in-a-pocket/ [shimelle.com]When the challenge was posted, I knew exactly what I was going to use. I flipped through my memorabilia and pulled out three handwritten items from my nan (a postcard, a short letter and a note), and I journalled about her appalling handwritting and how we used to have lots of fun trying to decipher what she wrote. I'm also really glad I kept these pieces as she lost her sight at 95 years old and can no longer write.
