My father loves Kauai. I know he wishes he could visit there even just one more time, but age and health and distance make it impossible. I wish I could give him one more chance to see it.I found this poem by Elizabeth Ann Biggs that I'm sure speak words from his own heart as well.Far away, across an ocean of blue, Lies a beautiful garden isle, A place, where dreams come true. Along the rugged Na Pali coast line, Cascading waterfalls, plunge from sea cliffs above, To me a rare beauty, compared to no other kind. From Waimea's colorful canyons so grand, To the pretty moon, that shines on Hanalei Bay, GOD with breathtaking beauty, covered this land.
