This is for Melissa's Study #1 on Generation Stamping. The first photo shows my attempt to stamp some “depth” with flowers, and then some “stacking”. The pink is Colorbox ‘Dark Peony’ and I think the gen stamping does show some great variation in the pink, and some pretty lighter pinks. The second photo is some more “stacking” using an Autumn leaf stamp and orange Distress ink. Again, the variation in colour is fantastic. And I was really surprised how clearly the 2nd and 3rd gen came out. I started colouring the right-hand ones with Copics, but just did the edges. In the third photo I played with “movement” with a small butterfly stamp, and I coloured them with various shades of copics. I thought this turned out quite well. And the last photo is my grand finale (lol) - a larger dragonfly in movement, using Copics to colour it. The variation of the colours of the Copics aren't quite right, but I had to work with what I had.
