This is for Anna-Karin's challenge, to use texture in a project.I decided to go WAY out of my comfort zone on this one, and just have fun with texture - which I think is in the spirit of the challenge, anyway!I started with a folded cereal box base, so it was extra strong. The purple pp has a natural linen-like texture, and I tore it, and added scraps of light blue embossed paper and a specialty paper that has tiny stud-like silver raised dots. I stuck those down and then scraped ‘Spakfilla’ randomly over the rest of the card. I stamped a bird and a cage and a shell and some sentiments with black ink, and some French script with brown ink.As a finishing touch I made a “chain” for the birdcage out of dots of gold liquid pearls.Interesting result! It was so much fun to make. I didn't overthink it - just kept adding bits as I felt led.
