Here's my sample for my Painted puzzlers challenge. I started with a piece of watercolor paper cut into a 4x6 rectangle. I stamped my music sheet stamp onto the paper with versamark ink and heat embossed it with Zing! embossing powder in white. I then used red, pink, purple and blue gelatos and smeared them onto the paper. I spritzed with water and used a cloth to blend the gelatos into the paper. Once dry, I cut the pieces apart with my paper trimmer and went around the edges with the purple gelato stick to cover any white areas. I then adhered the pieces onto my kraft cardbase leaving a small space in between the pieces. I stamped my butterfly image and sentiment with white acrylic paint onto purple cardstock and cut out and adhered to my cardbase with pop dots. The next image shows the background stamp I used.Supplies used:Stamps: Stampabilities background stamp in sheet music.Butterfly stamp is from an Inkadinkado set, I was unable to find the name of the set.Sentiment is from Hero Arts, everyday sayings.Versamark ink, Zing EP in white, Faber Castell gelatos in pink, purple, red and blue. Paint is acrylic white paint from Folk Art.CS - Kraft is from Recollections and the purple is from Coordinations.
