I made this double page layout for the Stamping Board's Winterfest Stencil Me In challenge.I used a Prima doily stencil and Faded Jeans Distress Ink with a inking tool to apply the doily on the white paper. The inking tool worked for this but was a bit tedious and you had to be conscious of not moving the stencil while pouncing the inking tool.I used the same Prima stencil to add the doily border along the top and bottom of the page. To save time, I used spray ink this time. I used Heidi Swapp's Sweet Cherry Color Shine spray. I didn't want the ink to leak under the stencil, so I sprayed a light coat.I used a My Mind's Eye doily stamp set and the Faded Jean's distress ink to stamp the doilies to accent the page.I used a photo for part of the title (yarn) and cut the other part (bomb) on my Silhouette.I stitched on the paper to add more interest. I also stamped “Fabulous” to the journaling area. That stamp is Technique Tuesday and the ink is Barn Door Distress Ink.My son was gracious enough to pose with the yarn bombed trees we found while walking. All the paper is old.Red- Me and My Big IdeasYellow- Amy Tangerine's Globe Trotter White- Bella Blvd
