The fun continued as I played with a Paisley embossing folder. Probably Cuttlebug, but I can't guarantee as the folder is buried somewhere under remnants of SOF13! All of these samples started as watercolor paper dragged through misted distress inks in yellow/oranges, maybe a little red.My first sample, I inked one side of the embossing folder with Versamark, dry embossed, and then heat embossed with two different embossing powders from the Powder Keg, Carnival and Honeycomb. I dabbed Fired Brick (I think?) distress ink over the raised parts, putting the ink pad directly to the paper. My second sample is more of the same, except I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Again I inked the raised parts with distress. The third example I tried something new to me and brayered with Cinnamon Stickles.Thank you Jan! I enjoyed your challenge to make Backgrounds with WOW!
