I'm glad I got a chance to try to make texture using cling wrap! There are a few things I will do differently next time. a. work a little fasterb. use better watercolor paper, so it stays wet a little longerc. use different cling wrap. I have press n seal, which is very sticky. This is my best piece out of 4 backgrounds, and then I inadvertently cut it fairly small! I used watercolor paper, Yasutomo pearlescent pan watercolors, and press n seal cling wrap. I hope you can see at least a little texture in the photo. It's a gray, rainy day here :(All stamping was done in versamark. The flowers were embossed with copper EP over the cling wrap background. I colored the flowers with the same pearlescent pan watercolors that were used for the background technique. The sentiment and heart were embossed with pastel lavender embossing glitter on a purple cs panel. Next they were white-washed with white gouache. The EP resisted the gouache. The watercolor panel was attached to the purple panel. The purple panel was attached to a white card base.Stamps : Hampton Art Stamps flower (stamped twice), Stampendous heart, Hero Arts sentiment.Thank you to Anna-Karin for sharing the cling wrap technique and to Daria for the 2nd chance at the challenge during Hangover week! TFL!
