Fairy door using May kit and Glimmer Mist. This was for the Project 52 blog… Do you believe in fairies?? Well, I do! I got this adorable wooden door at a miniature store and the idea from my good friend, Shelley May, after she made a princess fairy door for her daughter's room. I decided I needed to make a special entrance for my fairy friends to visit us. I painted the brick and door with Distress Crackle paints and sprayed Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist to add some magical sparkle to my door. The papers in the paneling are scraps from the May kit as well as the metal wings that adorn the door. I added my house number and 1/2 to it and a Prima vine. It's so pretty that I'm sure we'll have mischievous fairies in no time! My son was thrilled with the prospect of having little visitors and is already planning some decorations for the holidays for the door!
