I used dollar store items, a few wire hangers, basic craft supplies and Alcohol Inks to make these Autumn Fairy Wings for my TX Ren Fest costume. Iridescent cellophane, wire hangers, beading wire, Alcohol inks, spray glue, heat gun large wood flower stems and fall garland are all it took to make these wings. I heated the cellophane with a heat gun to give the texture after I sprayed glued it around the wires and stem. I then added multi layers of the inks and added more iridescent cellophane on the top to give very shiny patches. I finished the wings off by wiring the garland around the wings and wrapping adhesive felt on the wings handles so it would be comfy under my corset.
