This lo is about a tradition we keep: the First Foot. It comes from the Isle of Man and it's explained on the journaling that reads:
The Isle of Man name for the 1st Foot, or the 1st person to enter a house on New Year’s Day. The 1st Foot is very important because he influences the fortune of the home for the coming year.
