Oh my goodness, Chez. What a wonderful page! I love, LOVE that photo and the way you dedicated your page to army nurses! It is simply amazing, my friend!!!!!
Beautiful patriotic page Chez!!!! Love that you dedicated this work of art to those who serve! Such a great photo to scrap & you did an amazing jib with it with all the layering!!!
It's a shame you didn't start doing your research before we went to Gallipoli two years ago. With the help of our guide John was able to find and take photos of the graves of soldiers from his home town...we could have maybe found your uncles too. Our Turkish guide was actually made an honorary Australian citizen for the work he does for The Australian War Museum.
The nurse in this photo looks so young. Beautiful tribute to her and the other ANZAC heroes!
the act of giving goes beyond words. The untold hero's, who stood behind the lines doing what they did best, be there for the wounded, just everybody. These women didn't get the credit as many of them gave their lives in a brave act for their country. God Bless Them All
Beautiful tribute to all the brave and dedicated nurses who gave their lives for principles they strongly believed in. She looks so eager, innocent, and guileless with no awareness of the horrific sights and events that lie ahead of her. Love the simplicity of your LO so as not to detract from this beautiful photo. Great job, as always.
Cheryl, I love the punched petals and leaves around the border of the page! Very pretty papers, great chippies, and a neat image. I love that dandelion chippie!
hi all have been busy researching the war museum for documents on my great great uncle who was killed in WW1 at Gallipoli, found a great foto on Pinterest of a young Nurse so decided to dedicate this page to all the army nurses and the ANZACS who gave their lives for us. I would love to find out more about this brave young lady, somebody,s loving daughter, somebody,s friend. I have used kaisercraft TImeless Papers,Rubons, and Cutouts. The Australian Army Insignia Badge by ScrapFX was proudly warn on the Upturned Side of the Digger Slouch Hat, and Trained Army Nurses on their Uniform identifying the Spirit of the ANZACS. The Badge displayed is not the original design but was produced in 1949, the 4th design, must try to get a copy of the original badge which was worn in WW! & WW2 Thannks dear Jilly for the lovely ScrapFX powder puff flower. Thanks all for taking the time to take a peek in my gallery always appreciated....xo
