Just wanted to share a card I made for my card-making friend, Marylou (Meggie's Nana), playing around with inked backgrounds again! :-)
I took the picture of the Bullock's Oriole in our dogwood tree. My heart was thumping because he actually came down close to our house. Most of the time they are very shy and stay in the tops of our trees. I took it through our living room window and was surprised that it came out as well as it did. My heart was thumping with excitement!
The die cut is from the Ornamental Iron 2 Cricut cartridge. It was white on that side so I just inked it in with Tim Holtz Faded Jeans.
Also used were: Colorbox Chalk Ink in French Blue
