I started this page with the Let Get Messy challenge in mind. I found the image on Pintrest and fell in love with this South African artist. I would love to own a painting by this lady (Maria).... I can not find it on Pintrest now.... but love her work.

I painted the paper with gesso, then two types of crackle paint and three colors of distress ink. The gauze behind the photo is colored with two shades of color bloom to get a closer match to the photo.
