In DinoLand USA (in Animal Kingdom) there is a ride called Tricereatops Spin. ITs basically like the classic Dumbo ride at Magic Kingdom, but lets face it...it is always a (little kid) crowd pleaser. And the line for this was a lot shorter than for Dumbo so that was kind of awesome. I asked DH to take pictures of DD and I riding together and I made sure to get one of the actual ride. It was a pleasant moment flying above all the noise of Disney just the two of us.

Since the Triceratops are covered in little gold stars I wanted to play off that. I toned down the colors to look like an old school paleontological dig. I was about half way through the LO when I stumbled on what ended up becoming the BG paper. It works with both the dig-theme as well as the title...which is obviously tied to the ride. You can't see it very well, but I hand cut the clouds and then covered them in thin rope coiled and hot glued down. For as much time as it took and the number of times I burned my fingers I wish you could see it better. Also! The double matting around the pictures is white paper and a gorgeous gunmetal grey mettaic paper, but I have found metallic papers do not photograph well. So use your imagination. Its a textured, metallic, glittery, layered ensemble. Hope you like it and TFL.
