Barbwolfbeads, yes😔 the Operation Write home programa ended. What I do know is have a list of a few friends with family members deployed. So send the box to one of them and they share the cards. Word spreads quickly😂😂😂. I miss operation write home because they share great safety points like no glitter on cards etc. etc. it also had a deadline and that very important because it takes a while for mail to arrive and you don't want to send a. Bunch of Mother's Day cards and they get there too late. Hope this helped👍🇺🇸
MjColtGirl12 to answer your question. I have a group of retired ladies who I call to come over and we do the cards as a group. I supply all the materials. They just bring glue and scissors. If it's for sick children... I drop them off at local hospitals. I usually call and speak to someone incharge to get an idea of how many children are hospitalized when at the max. Also, I don't do get we'll cards for kids. I do birthdays, to brighten your day etc. etc. you need to keep in mind some children are very sick and resistance is low to fight infections. So, I'm careful of which material I use. For example: for the soldiers no glitter on their cards. It's a safety issue. I'm glad you'll send them to the kids in the hospital. 👍
Thank you ladies for such nice comments:)
Debbie, I make the cards for the soldiers and send them to operationwritehome.org
Donna, thank you for the suggestion on saving space:) I saw the bins for the cartridges.. I just have a hard time letting go of the case:( how I wish you ladies lived near by:( I would have crops every month... Free supplies and classes:) just time playing with paper, glue and scissors😀
I have looked at all you images. Your craft room looks a lot like mine. Same amount of space. I live alone and sleep in the living room so I am going to move my bed into another bedroom and make the large bedroom that was built on to the house I rent into my craft studio. I only have one comment toward a possible space reducer improvement. I see you have a lot of Cricut cartridges. It really would make you a little more space if you got Art Bin Cricut Storage boxes. Mine use to take a whole bookcase plus now they take about a 15"x15" space on the same bookcase. I am in the process of making a spread sheet of all my craft supplies. (Because I have a bad habit of buying the same thing twice!) It is hard to let those boxes go. I stored mine in the storage room a long time before I finally said "Let it go" Great room and a great cause you have for making your cards. I admire you.
I love that you are using your gifts/passion to bless others in need. You'll probably never fully know how much you've made a difference in their lives. Very cool.

Hello everyone , thank you for the comments:) Dwelch to answer your question.... I have them organized by occasions, birthdays, babies, love etc,. Etc. as for the ons with sentiments I just have all sentiment stamps front and center. I have hundreds more. Lots of acrylic stamps too. I hate to admit this but after a while it's too much scrapbooking supplies and they can get ruined if not used for too long:(
Oh my! I'll never feel bad about my stash again. This is just amazing - I'm curious how you have them organized. Are they by category or alphabetical, or just random? I absolutely LOVE your space, and your collection!
