This was the best photo I could get of 'the whole thing', but there are lots of additional close ups in this post.

This is a gift for my baby sis Jane, with some of her favorite bible verses. It started out to be a "Snippet Roll" (you can search Pinterest to see what a 'real' snippet roll is: )
This is about 16" X 5" and is now a wall hanging and not a roll - - because I can't roll it up! I got carried away with the cardboard! and now it only folds : J *sigh* But I think she will like it. She loves vintage style things.

The base is a long pc of vintage linen; quite sturdy. It wraps around a pc of Elm twig for hanging.
The butterfly on the lower right was a gift from Melissa @ Scraphouse! Please visit her gallery.
The 3 sweet images were freebies on a blog. And I want to mention the lace @ the top (taupe colored) and also bits of it scattered about, is from a local store that specializes in bridal lace.
You name it and I used it! Well, actually, there is no stenciling or media (like Gesso) used on this- but everything else!
