DD is 3 so I figured this year was the year to make cookies for Santa together. Luckily I think all those pancakes she made with daddy has paid off because she is kind of a wiz in the kitchen. haha We mixed ingredients with minimal mess. The rolling pin and the cookie cutters were REALLY thrilling tools....we had to do those together (and try to maintain our excitement). She was a trooper waiting for them to bake and just as we started decorating Grandma and grandpa got there to spend Christmas eve (and morning) with us. We all got into decorating the cookies together. It was actually really fun. I kind of hope it becomes a tradition that they stay over on Christmas eve every year, but if not at very least the 3 of us will always make cookies for Santa together.

Ps. This is the LO that I make when I don't follow an inspiration. Isn't it boring? I really do not like this LO....its so uninspired....so boring. But I had major scrappers block. I have never re-done a LO before but I may have to re-do this one at some point in the future. Sorry for the lack of creativity on this LO. Its a great story and I was really excited to share. I should have put more thought into it first. I call mulligan on this one.
