At 4:00PM we left the ship again – we had an hour and a half to look at more pearls in some other jewelry stores and decide which ones to buy. We quickly glanced around in 6 or 7 more pearl stores but nothing compared with the first pendant we found so we went back to the Blue Pearl and Bill bought it for me! It has a purple pearl and a green pearl – both the natural colors. Both pearls are 10 millimeters and shaped perfectly (graded A for color and shape). It is a really elegant piece of jewelry! I can't wait to wear it! The diamonds only made it more beautiful. I have been teasing him and telling him that on my next trip to Tahiti – I get the earrings to match!

After a Tahitian bbq on the ship around the atrium pool where 2 whole pigs (complete with the heads) were roasted, there was piano entertainment by another pool on the back of the ship. I couldn't believe they actually put a baby-grand piano outside on the upper deck but the program was wonderful!

All the chairs were occupied on the deck but there is a bench
at one end of the pool. You have to wade through water to
get to the bench so I rolled up the cuffs of my jeans and we
waded over there. We had the best seats in the house as we
dangled our feet in the water throughout the show.

When that show was over there was a Tahitian show in the
main theater with 22 local dancers - they were amazing!
