I enjoyed making my sis one of these notepad holders so I'm making some more as gifts to have on hand! This time I used DCWV's Primrose Stack that I just love! One thing I wanted to mention was I found a quick and easy way to score the paper so there's 1/2" depth. I thought I would try using the tip of my sharp-pointed scissors that I use to fussy cut with. I laid my wide ruler down where I wanted the scoring and lightly ran the scissors point along the edge of the ruler and it worked perfectly. If you try that, be careful not to apply a lot of pressure or you will cut clear through the paper.

The nice thing about these is you can make use of your rubber stamps, which I've been doing a lot more of lately. I use the color ink I want and then heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

The beautiful die cut butterfly is from our friend Scraphouse (Melissa) and I inked it all in with several different colors until I was satisfied with the colors. Then added a little bling to its body.
