Give a Cheer
I have made this card for my friend who is a big fan of this organic painter. Therefore, I have downloaded the pictures of two of her favorite paintings to use for the front of the card and the box.
I fussy-cut some of the painting parts to apply on the box aperture in order to create that underwater floating imagery. Using a polka dots embossing folder I embossed the acetate used for the box aperture for an added underwater effect. A picture of the empty box is also attached for easy visualization.
For the inside of the card I have used Spellbinders Ribbon Buckles S4-362 to cut out of chipboard the two buckles which I then painted using mod podge mixed with blue glitter.
The paper mats used inside the card I embossed free form by hand using different sizes stylus in order to create the impression of corals. I then used pastels to lightly go over the embossing
