Give a Cheer
One of my sisters is retiring the first of July from State Farm after 27 years. She will be moving back to CO from Ohio & our whole family is so excited to have her close again. Karen (Roosterhead) had posted a site on one of her cards she made & I thought I would check it out. The gal is from Russia & very creative. I took one of her ideas & made it my own. The layers from bottom to top are: paper from Prima Ledger pad, burlap from Elizabeth (eapipkin), thanks sweetie, piece of a lunch bag torn & stamped with Kaisercraft-postmarks, Prima~Nature Garden paper, cheesecloth, more Prima paper with a touch of lace tucked underneath. Postcard from Pintrest, sizzix butterflies-doubled, twine & the button from my mom. She gave me a bag of old buttons & earrings which I keep forgetting to use.
