We got back on the hop-on hop-off bus and rode it up to Table Mountain again and around by the beaches and then back to the area where we had started in front of the Victoria Market.

Dinner was at a fast-food seafood place in the food court of another mall. Bill had fish and chips which were excellent! I wish I could get fish and chips that good at home! I had a skewer of shrimp and pineapple which were then battered and the entire skewer was deep fried. Very interesting – but not sure I would get it again – I liked Bill's fish better.

Back to the Victoria Market in search of a good internet connection again. We were also on the lookout for a few gift items to take home and some clunky African bead jewelry for me. At one end of the market was a large store called the “Red Shed” which we loved! The Red Shed was full of individual vendor booths with crafters selling nice handmade African items. These were not the cheap souvenirs that we see everywhere when we travel, these were really nicely-made things. It was a building full of artists selling beautiful clothes, paintings, jewelry, blown glass, leather items and other locally-made treasures.

It was a bit more upper-end than we expected but we walked through all the little shops in the “Red Shed” and found a really beautiful floor-length silk caftan in a leopard fur print. Very African looking and we both loved it. However, Bill didn't like the 950 Rand ($95 US Dollars) price tag so we passed on it and found a good fast internet signal which was free for the price of a Coke which was 20 Rand ($2 US Dollars).

We got back to the ship a little after 10:00PM – tired but happy after a very good day in port.
