Page 579 - Volume Challenge - England

Friday, June 20th, 2014 - Today was our last day in England! And we went to see was Warwick Castle! I really wanted to see Warwick Castle – Bill bought tickets for us on the Air Force base in Mildenhall because he knew I wanted to see this famous castle!

The icing on the cake was that Rosey Dimond from the scrapbook.com boards was going to meet us there!

She is awesome! In addition to being absolutely lovely, she is one of the nicest people I have ever met! I felt bad because what was to have been a 2 or 2 ½ hour drive for her to meet us ended up taking her nearly 4 hours because of bad traffic!

Rosey brought us each an authentic
British chocolate bar – they were both
delicious!

I was really surprised when she gave
me a really beautiful handmade card
that she made and a collection of
British scrapbook paper! I can't wait
to get home and use some of that
paper to start making layouts!

NOTE: Not in journaling: As soon as I get my digital layouts done I will be doing a paper scrapbook of England. The paper/trimmer book will be all my favorite highlight of the trip without the extensive journaling. Can't wait to tackle that project! The card on this layouts on the left is the one Rosey made for me.
